Protect your car from relay theft

Relay Theft – Keyless Protector Vehicle Security
Keyless Protector is a non-invasive anti-theft device that protects your vehicle from relay attacks. If your car doesn’t have anti-theft protection, thieves can steal it in just a few seconds. One thief intercepts the signal from your key fob, while the other gets in the car and drives away.
Keyless Protector is an anti-theft solution in the form of a simple clip for the key fob battery, cutting off its power supply. No power means no signal, and no signal means no car theft. Installation takes just a few minutes and does not limit the key fob’s functionality like a Faraday cage or key case. The Keyless Protector is user-friendly and non-invasive, unlike CAN-based systems that require soldering into the vehicle’s wiring.
Keyless Protector Lite
The Lite version offers the same key protection benefits in an even more compact form – a battery integrated with a microprocessor and motion sensor. Unlike the standard version, which is a clip-on overlay for the battery, the Lite version is a fully integrated solution.
Just like the classic Keyless Protector, the Lite version cuts off power to the key fob when it’s not in use, preventing it from sending out a signal. As a result, the relay theft method becomes impossible, because a powerless key cannot transmit a signal and therefore cannot be cloned.

How does Keyless Protector work?
Keyless Protector works by cutting off the power supply to your car key’s battery when the key is not in use. Without power, the key cannot emit a signal, which makes it impossible for thieves to intercept or extend it using the relay attack method.
The device reactivates the key automatically when it detects motion (e.g., when you pick it up or move it), restoring its full functionality without any user intervention. This provides effective protection without sacrificing convenience.

The Relay Attack – A Real Threat
The “relay attack” is a genuine and growing threat. Thieves use special equipment to intercept and extend the signal from your key fob, even when it’s inside your home. One thief stands near your house to capture the signal, while the other stands by the car to receive it and unlock the vehicle – all without the original key.
This method allows them to steal your car in seconds, silently and without leaving a trace.

Step 1
What is relay theft?
Relay theft is a method of stealing a car by exploiting the vulnerable keyless entry system. Although convenient, this system requires additional protection to prevent theft.
Thieves use electronic devices to extend the key fob’s signal, allowing them to unlock and start the vehicle without having physical access to the key.

Step 2
A key fob with a keyless entry system constantly emits a signal to communicate with the car. Thieves, equipped with two devices typically hidden in suitcases (hence the name “relay theft”), use the first device near your home to capture the signal from the key fob (for example, by standing near your front door), and the second device near the car to clone the signal. This allows them to unlock, start, and drive away with your vehicle — all without the actual key.

Step 3
Relay theft does not require force — it is quick and highly effective. To a bystander, it simply looks like the vehicle’s owner is getting in and driving away in their own car.
